Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue

Brotherhood Ride 2023

Our organization consists of Firefighters, Police Officers and EMS personnel who ride BICYCLES to Honor emergency first responders who have died in the line of duty.  Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support for their families.

Our 2023 Ride, will be dedicated to 28 Florida First Responders who died in the line of duty in 2022 while protecting their communities. Beginning on October 27th from Naples, our team will honor them by cycling through the state of Florida for 9 days, covering over 600 miles and average 70-90 miles a day. The ride will conclude on November 4th in Miami.

We are “Team Brian” with the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue and we are riding to honor our Captain Richard “Brian” Wolnewitz, who passed away on August 16, 2022 following a courageous two and a half year battle with lung cancer.

Thank you for your generous support! Our organization is entirely composed of volunteers, who are themselves, emergency responders: firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel.  Other than the cost of conducting the rides, all donated proceeds go directly to the beneficiaries designated.  No one is compensated for their time in order to maximize the impact of donations. Your gift will directly benefit the families of fallen heroes, emergency responders who have given their lives while trying to protect the lives and properties of others. With your help, we can continue to show the families, friends and their community that their loved ones will not be forgotten!

The Brotherhood Ride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization designated by the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax identification number is 33-1187088.
