The 2009 Brotherhood Ride will be dedicated to Officer Andrew Widman of Fort Myers Police Department. Officer Widman was shot and killed when he responded to a disturbance in the early morning on July 18, 2008. You can read an NBC2 news article about the incident here.
This year's ride will take place July 18th. Riders will leave from the North Naples Fire District Station 45, ride for six days and return on July 23 at the Fort Myers Police Station.
